THE HOUR OF CODE

                                                       THE HOUR OF CODE
Yesterday we did hour of code. We went to our buddy class room 2. We watched a video of how to code. Coding is when your controlling a character. You have a section of words that can make your character move There were also people that made websites in it too. So then when the video finished we went with our buddy's and the teacher said we can tinker around in the coding website. So we were on this kind of minecraft coding website. So me and my buddy Isaiah controlled our character Steve. We worked together to get this done. It was very challenging and it gets harder and harder when ever you get to the highest level. Me and Isaiah got up to level 12!!. So then we got our CERTIFICATES YAY!!!.

New World Trip

On Wednesday we went to NEW WORLD. We had a cardboard to lean on and we had a worksheet that we could put on the cardboard and a pencil. We were split into 4 groups of 7 we had parent helpers too. I went with Zeb Dinah's Dad with Breanna, Jack, Francis and Dinah. We had to stick together. So we looked at the list there were lots of stuff to do we only had 1 hour to do this. So we did Muesli bars first. My muesli bar was Mother earth nut bars and Tasti Mega Nuts Bar. The Mother earth muesli bar had 169 calories and the Mega nut bar was 215 calories.
The Mother earth nut bar has 711 kj and the Mega nut bar had 902 kj. Mother earth bar has 1.3 saturated fat and mega nuts has 3.1. Mega nuts bar has 8.2 sugar and mother earth has 4.6 sugar.


So then we moved onto Snack foods I chose Shapes and rice crackers. I took so long so then we moved onto BREAD. I found out that Multi-Grain Bread is better then white bread. Cereals was our next stop i did Weet bix and Bites Weet bix were more healthier (Of course). So then we did everything BUT Don't leave just yet we had to do vegetables VEGETABLE COLOUR'S we had to do fruits too. I did lots of greens and reds I had Boyseberry, Lettuce, Cabbage, Different fruits and all those kind of things I mean i didn't have to write the whole list did i.

Athletics-Shot put

Yesterday was ATHLETICS!!!, We did Shot put lessons outside. Our coach Jake told us when we have the ball in our hands we have to have dirty fingers, dirty neck and clean palms and you're knees bent and hand twisted when given a ball. He set out hula hoops then told us if we stretch our wrist and let go of the ball your wrist will hurt. We needed to have our legs faced sideways. Coach Jake said 3...2...1... I threw the ball as far as my old grandpa's wheelchair. The ball went high but never landed far at least I tried. Coach Jake then said I don't want to see any balls spinning while we throw them. So then coach Jake had his top 4's that could throw far.
His Top 4's were Vini, Breanna, Nikola And Dinah. All of there throws were so LOOOOOOONG I couldn't choose who was the best thrower ever.

How To Be Healthy

How To Be Healthy :)

Are you tired of being unhealthy and you want to be healthy but you're not healthy 
you're just unhealthy and you want to be healthy but you just lose 
you're mind and you want to eat sugar but you want to be healthy but you like sugar 
and you want to be healthy DONE!!!.

Well if you start eating unhealthy stuff like meat
you gain weight yes that's right weight.
Also if you don't eat nothing you will gain weight too.

Your body stores fat because you're body doesn't
know when you will eat again.

When you are hungry and you haven't ate anything
you get angry
or well how most people say it 
HANGRY!!

Some foods have lots of sugar
like juice and other sorts of food.

Lastly eating good amounts/portion sizes-Your palm.
And breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
You live longer too if you're healthy.

Cross Country

Last week friday we had our fun run
or how you say it.
The year 3 2 and 1's ran together
After that the year six girls ran.
The last people arrived some of the one in a half
lappers arrived too.
It was the end of cross country
everybody was tired and sweaty.

E.O.T.C Week


                                            E.O.T.C Week was fun.
On Monday we rode skateboards which you might already know if you read the whole page. Tuesday Baking pikelets. Wednesday Piha my legs were tired because we had to walk to the water fall.
Thursday Swimming it was cold IM FREEEEZING. Friday Movie time this time on movie time finding nemo. That's all i have for today hope you enjoyed the fun times. :)
